Softball to Cricket-Softball Player

Softball to Cricket? It's Easy!

Softball to Cricket is not at all difficult. Both games have similar mechanics, including the basic see ball, hit ball, catch ball. All you have to do is make some minor adjustments to your swing, toss your glove aside, and give it a go! If you are a former softball player looking for a fun way to stay active and be a part of a team, why not give cricket a try?

Women's Cricket Match

What Is Cricket?

Cricket is a bat and ball sport played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the center of which is a 22-yard pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. The batting side scores runs by striking the ball bowled at the wicket with the bat (and running between the wickets), while the bowling and fielding side tries to prevent this (by preventing the ball from leaving the field, and getting the ball to either wicket) and dismiss each batter (so they are “out”).

Cricket of course, is not just played at the international level in major grounds. The real beauty of cricket is that it can be played by anyone, anywhere! All you really need is a bat and a ball and maybe something for wickets.
