On #GivingTuesday, you can support the athletes and families connected with the American Gold Sports Alliance. Your gift supports athletes who would otherwise be unable to participate in their chosen sport. Your donations go towards providing student-athletes with equipment, coaches, and anything else that aids them in pursuing their passions.
What is Giving Tuesday and When is it?
Giving Tuesday is a national campaign occurring on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving. It was established as a way to begin the giving season and encourage people to contribute charitable donations to nonprofits. The next Giving Tuesday is on Nov. 28, 2023.
What are Some Giving Tuesday Participation Ideas?
- Donate: Make a donation to celebrate Giving Tuesday and kick off the season of giving. When you give to Lurie Children’s on Giving Tuesday, we use your gift to support families and kids who need it most.
- Encourage others: Giving Tuesday started as a national movement to inspire giving. After you give, fundraise or volunteer, encourage others to get involved by sharing your participation using #GivingTuesday and tag @agsa to share your support. Together, we can make a big impact!
- Fundraise: When you ask friends and family to help raise money for a charity, you increase the amount you would’ve given on your own!

Helping dedicated student-athletes regardless of their social and economic circumstance has always been at the core of AGSA’s mission—but we can’t do it without you. A gift to AGSA helps student-athletes afford travel and tournament fees, equipment, coaching, and more services that student-athletes and their families would normally struggle to afford.
