Tara has been a life long athlete. She started playing softball at five years old and continued to play through college. In high school, Tara was a three-sport athlete, playing softball, basketball, and tennis. In college, she pursued both tennis and softball. Throughout that time, Tara helped coached numerous teams and has volunteered at countless sports camps. Tara has pursued sports in her professional life as well. Throughout college, she was the Executive Producer for her on-campus Live Sports productions. She also worked at the Joliet Slammers professional baseball team in the summers before moving to Virginia to work with the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs minor league hockey team. She is very excited to continue her sports career behind the scenes making sure student-athletes receive the same opportunities she did.
When she’s not working or playing sports, Tara enjoys reading in her hammock, hanging out with friends, and cuddling with her cats, Neil and Edgar.
